The clinic is led by Dr. Melanie Smith, an Auburn veterinary graduate who spent six years in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps, where she cared for several presidential pets and the caisson horses at Fort Myer. She practices alongside Dr. Amy Carlson and Dr. Amanda Pierce, with a team that has been with the clinic for years.
